You can now generate a blog post in forty seconds, a logo in two minutes, and a month of social media captions before your coffee gets cold. So why does anyone still pay for marketing?
Fair question. Here’s the honest answer from a team that uses AI every day.
What actually got cheap
Production. The typing, the drafting, the resizing, the “give me ten variations” part. That cost has genuinely collapsed, and anyone charging 2023 prices for raw output is selling you yesterday’s scarcity.
We’re not nostalgic about it. Faster production is why a landing page from us costs €199, not €900.
What didn’t get cheap
Knowing what to make. AI will happily write a beautiful post for an audience you shouldn’t be targeting, with a message that doesn’t differentiate you, on a channel your customers don’t use. Strategy — the what and why before the make — got more valuable, not less, because the cost of producing the wrong thing at scale has never been lower.
Taste. Everyone has access to the same models, which means everyone’s “good enough” now looks identical. The feeds are flooded with competent, forgettable content. Standing out used to require budget; now it requires judgment — knowing what to cut, what sounds like everyone else, and what actually feels like your brand.
Accountability. AI doesn’t check whether the campaign made money. It won’t notice the tracking was broken, the audience overlapped, or the discount attracted one-time bargain hunters. Someone has to own the result, not the output. That someone still costs money.
The new math
The old marketing price was mostly production with some thinking on top. The new price is mostly thinking, with production nearly free.
That’s why good marketing got cheaper but didn’t become free — and why the gap between cheap marketing and good marketing is now wider than ever. When output costs nothing, the only thing separating you from the noise is everything AI can’t do: strategy, taste, and someone who answers for the numbers.
We build our services on exactly that math: AI where it makes work faster, humans where judgment decides the outcome. That’s how a fixed price of €49 or €199 can include senior-level thinking — the part that was never about typing speed.
Curious what that looks like in practice? Every service in our catalogue lists exactly what you get and what it costs. The thinking is included.
